Delivering Fresh Milk on A Cold Winter Morning

Horse Drawn Milk Cart

An old woman, a recent immigrant from Ukraine, delivers milk from the back of a horse drawn cart on a wintry day in 1909 Manitoba, Canada. The delivery cart bears the high sounding name of the International Dairy, though from the looks of the wagon, this operation was far from being a multinational, unless you counted the fact that the milk woman was international in the sense of being foreign born.
